The one question that I wish patients asked me more is, “What do you do to stay healthy?” I very rarely get sick, so I believe that I have established some great habits that truly keep me healthy.

I am going to share those healthy habits with you here.

  • I take a multi vitamin and mineral supplement, omega 3-Fatty Acids, Vitamin D3, and Resveratrol every day. I’m not going to go into the benefits of each one of them in this blog. However, I know with my protocol of these supplements, I am getting the necessary nutrients that I am not getting from food. Our food in the US is very depleted of minerals do to the soil being overturned so much. I couldn’t possible eat enough salad in one day to get the necessary minerals needed to stay healthy.

  • I work out just about every day. Working out not only keeps me strong and feeling great, it also, reduces stress, boosts my immune system, and reduces inflammation. I mainly do strength training workouts, as opposed to cardio workouts.

  • I try to be sleeping by 10:00 p.m. each night. Melatonin is your master hormone, which is necessary to make all other hormones in your body. Melatonin is made by the pineal gland in your brain, and will start production around 10:00 at night, if you are sleeping. If you aren’t sleeping at this time, you will miss out on essential hormone production.

  • I do a nutrient supported intermittent fast at least twice a month. It helps to reset my hormones, control my appetite, control my weight, for cellular repair, and anti-aging benefits. There are many other benefits to intermittent fasting. People have been practicing IF for many years, and supported scientifically.

  • I do not use cleaners in my house that contain chemicals. I make my own laundry detergent, fabric softener, and household cleaners. If there is something that I don’t make that I need, I buy non-toxic cleaners. I do not want the chemicals that are in my clothes from laundry detergent and softeners being absorbed into my body, and I don’t want to be breathing in toxins from cleaners. So many diseases are caused by toxins. Toxins are everywhere in our environment, and I want to reduce my exposure as much as possible.

  • I try to eat organic as much as possible. I do not want antibiotics from meat, pesticides on fruit and vegetables, or Genetically Modified Organisms (GMO) in my body. Period.

  • I use a non-toxic skin care line. I do this for the same reasons that I don’t use chemicals to clean my laundry. I don’t want to absorb toxins through my skin, so I use non-toxic products.

  • I don’t consume dairy products besides organic eggs. Dairy products are very inflammatory and cause many health problems.

If you want to work with me, I have several programs in which you can do so. I, also, do one-on-one consultations. If you would like to learn more about either, you can do so here.
